The legend lives. Developed over 20 years ago, at that time it was a quantum leap in performance. The first high-quality tire suitable for reliable touring and everyday use. These characteristics quickly made it popular and today it is still Europe’s most riden touring tire. In the newest version with KevlarGuard and Allround tread compound it can fulfil everything that is expected of a Marathon tire: Effective puncture protection, durability and excellent handling characteristics.
Marathon Cross
A tire for all seasons. It rolls easily on the road and performs well off-road too. It is hardwearing and has puncture protection exactly as you would expect from a member of the Marathon family. The robust profile, grippy compound and 3M-Scotchlite™ reflective lines make it suitable for year-round use.
Marathon Plus
Punctures are a memory. The SmartGuard‚ layer made from a flexible, special rubber offers particular resistance to shards of glass and flints. Even a thumbtack cannot penetrate this protective layer. The SmartGuard belt does not increase rolling resistance. The MARATHON PLUS rolls as easily as a tire without protection.
Marathon Plus ATB
The flat-less trekking tire. The Marathon Plus with an ATB profile makes for untroubled off-road excursions.
Marathon Racer
The fastest Marathon ever. Everything is optimized for speed. Qualifier Compound and sporty, light sidewalls make the Marathon Racer extremely flexible and minimizes rolling resistance. Pure dynamics: The low weight is noticeable every time you ride. A RaceGuard belt protects against punctures.
Marathon Supreme

Marathon XR
The ultimate expedition tire! An extremely versatile tread with a incomparably friction resistant rubber compound. The TravelGuard protection belt offers excellent puncture protection at an extremely low weight. A special chafer around the bead prevents the tire scrubbing out on the rim under extreme loads. Made as a folding tire to pack easily in luggage.
